Top Hikes in BC

🗻🌲🥾🌲🏔️MY TOP 100 HIKES OF ALL TIME COUNTDOWN!🏔️🌲🥾🌲⛰️ Hikes #5-#1

Five - Mount Assiniboine Trail, Mount Assiniboine Provincial Park, BC

Four - Berg Lake Trail, Mount Robson Provincial Park, BC

Three - Alpine Circuit @ Lake O’Hara, Yoho National Park, BC

Two - Golden Ears Summit, Golden Ears Provincial Park, BC

One - Mount Baker Summit, Mount Baker Wilderness, WA

So, a couple things…Golden Ears ranks #2 all time for me because yes its gorgeous, but even more so because its the VERY FIRST place I ever went hiking and it was the place that opened up an entirely new paradigm for me. This park and mountain is the genesis and for that it will always have an extremely special place in my heart.

Secondly, Mount Baker is my favourite mountain in the world. I think its the most beautiful and it truly is the archetypical mountain to me. On my first ever summit I was miraculously gifted my first ever aurora borealis (northern lights) experience and it was the electrical storm of the decade. I mean this was a DIVINE adventure for me.

Lake O’Hara’s Alpine Circuit is just an INSANE amount of reward to effort. 3 of the most beautiful lakes on Earth in 1 hike. The world famous Opabin Plateau lookout. Waterfalls, peaks and tarns galore.

Berg Lake Trail (including Snowbird Pass) is NON STOP views. This place is Disneyland for hikers. Theres a reason its one of the most coveted hiking permits on the planet.

Assiniboine just like Berg Lake is probably trails 1a and 1b for bucket listers. Like much of the Canadian Rockies, its so magnificent it looks designed.
