🌿 Methi Muthiya (Air Fryer):
Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, these air-fried methi muthiya are a healthier take on a Gujarati classic. Made with fresh methi leaves, wheat flour, and besan, they’re packed with flavor from simple spices and require no deep frying. Perfect as a chai-time snack, a light breakfast, or even meal prep, these muthiya are comforting, wholesome, and incredibly easy to make.🧾 Ingredients
* 1 cup methi leaves, chopped & washed
* 1 cup wheat flour
* ½ cup besan
* 2 tbsp ginger–green chili, crushed
* 1 tsp Red chili powder – to taste
* 1 tbsp Cumin–coriander powder – to taste
* A pinch of hing
* 1 tsp sesame seeds
* ½ tsp turmeric powder
* ½ tsp ajwain
* Salt to taste
* 2 tbsp oil
* Water – as needed to knead
👩🍳 Method
1. In a bowl, add methi leaves, wheat flour, besan, ginger–green chili paste, all spices, sesame seeds, salt, and oil.
2. Mix well and knead into a soft dough using a little water at a time.
3. Grease your palms with oil and shape small muthiya balls.
4. Lightly grease the muthiya with oil.
5. Preheat the air fryer to 370°F.
6. Air fry for 20 minutes, shaking or turning halfway for even cooking.
7. Remove once golden and crisp on the outside.
