Some tips -
1. Before buying get an inspection done by a mechanic. They usually take 100 dollars for doing so.
2. Also check the market rate of the car on Kelly blue book. Many online tools have fair evaluation. I think auto trader has it as well. Check there.
3. Check miles or Km. Don't confuse the reading with it.
For used car - there is canadadrives as the online market place - no negotiation, 7 day no questions asked return.
But you don't get to test drive the car ahead of time. That's a negative.
And you'll have to buy an insurance, which doesn't get refunded ofcourse.
Then there are dealerships. Every car dealership will have used cars - No restriction like Toyota dealership will only have toyota cars etc. Anyone can sell any car to them and they sell it forward.
Then there are individual sellers as well. Autotrader is the rich market place to hunt all kinds of listings - private/ dealers all.
fb marketplace/ craigslist for individual ones too.
It is a time consuming process though. Unless you are a car expert, it is difficult to judge the car quality.
Canada drives offers free carfax report - which gives the ownership and service history of the car - so thats a good benefit to have.
If you want to go for a second hand car, put in the time to do the research around what you want and then reach out to dealers / canada drives who have that car.

Weather in LA in the month of november was pretty amazing, it was around 22 degrees during the day and in the evening it dropped upto 15 degrees.
Itinerary in details:
12th Nov, 22 - Saturday - We took American airlines from Vancouver to LAX. Our flight was around 1:30 PM and it was a 2 hour flight. Price of each ticket was around 500 CAD including conversion fee and service tax.
We checked in our hotel at Freehand. It is in the heart of the downtown and every tourist place is nearby located to it. We had booked here via booking.com for 4 nights. It costed us around 1150 CAD. They charged as around 150 USD as security deposit which was refunded in 5 working days. We took uber from airport which costed us 64+3 tip USD. We explored the nearby area, went to target, had tacos and burrito from a nearby foodtruck which was okaish. People had recommended us to try food truck food for sure.
13th Nov, 22 - Sunday - We had breakfast at nearby restaurant and walked towards Angel flight. We took a trip to the downhill $1 USD ticket. If you go downhill, you can get down there and cross the road to find the grand public market. We enjoyed the ride and went up the hill and down again and entered the market. It was noisy and crowded and lot of food options were available. We enjoyed some jasmine pineapple rice and a big cup of watermelon juice. We also tried Ramen noodles which wasnt that great.
We proceeded towards the Walt Disney Concert Hall. There was a free tour to the hall which was 5 storey building. Level 2, 3 and 5 were accessible to us and we saw garden view, a rose fountain on the 3rd floor and on the 5th floor we had the city view. The building is huge and very uniquely shaped. Our next hotel conrad was exactly opposite to it which was 28-storey. Besides the Walt Disney Concert Hall was The Broad which was again a unique building in itself.
Please remember to book an appointment ( free of cost) for the broad - infinity mirror beforehand, else they wont let you enter the room. It is an amazing experience and must not be missed. We also visited the art gallery upstairs which was very big and extremely beautiful. We had falafel and fries from the food truck outside the broad which was again okaish!
We then booked a cab to Little Tokyo market. It costed us around 10 USD. It was a small mall. We dint find anything interesting there, so we walked to Japanese Village Plaza. We reached there by 7pm and the place was very lively and we enjoyed our time there. We dint find lot of vegeterian food option. But loved eating the icecream in the cold and live music around the place lifted us! We booked a cab back to the hotel. It costed us around 10 USD.
14th Nov, 22 - Monday - We had breakfast at a Paris cafe and oh boy! they had delicious panini and very good coffee. We also tried the rainbow pastry and it was super soft and tasty. We booked a cab to Disneyland which costed us around 60 CAD. We reached there in 45 mins. Even though it was monday, the place was very crowded. We had security check at the gate and someone told us that you need to book tickets prior hand. We downloaded the app from the free wifi and was able to quickly book the tickets. There were 129 USD per person. We scanned the code and entered. The place has amazing charm and magic. All excited happy people around. You should take genie plus which is just 25 USD extra. It gives access to lightning lanes, which moves faster and also you can download for free photos which they take inside disneyland, else its chargeable arounf 35 USD to download. We stayed there till 12 AM. Booked uber to hotel. It costed us around 50 USD.
